Adding a flower and floral rug to your home allows you to convey your personal style and make a one-of-a-kind statement.

It is common to associate floral area rugs with more traditional styles, but these rugs can also be found in boho, modern, rustic, vintage, and tropical styles, to name a few. You don't have to settle for a rug that's less than perfect because you can choose from different materials, color palettes, pile heights, and overall designs.

Consider these key areas when choosing your flower & floral area rug.

Living Room.

In these situations, the rug can be placed in front of the furniture, under the legs, or further under them. For morning coffee or reading, a smaller floral rug can be used to accent another sitting area.

Dining Room.

You should center your flower & floral rug directly beneath your dining table, leaving 60cm between each side and end to allow the chairs to move comfortably.

Bedroom.

The rug can be centered to varying degrees directly beneath your bed if it is the focal point of the room. You can, however, center a rug in the middle of the room, along the side of the bed, or in another corner where you have a chair if your bed is off to one side.

Pattern.

You can find a wide variety of patterns within floral and flower rugs. When selecting a pattern, make sure it is in keeping with the rest of the decor and does not distract from it. Consider also the rug’s material, which impacts its durability and texture as well as its overall appearance. You can choose from wool, cotton, jute, polyester, and other materials to get the look and feel you want.

Color.

You have a wide range of color palettes to choose from because floral rugs fall into a variety of styles. There are many shades, combinations, and patterns of colors out there, such as black, blue, green, white, red, ivory, teal, and many more. It is important that the color of your rug complements your other decor in the room and fits into the room's existing color scheme.
